IIHMR 10th Convocation PGDM Batch 2019-2021
IIHMR Bengaluru 10th Annual Convocation was held on Saturday, 31th July 2021.
This year a total of 55 students and scholars graduated with excellence. The Convocation began with inauguration & lamp lighting. Welcome address was presented by Mr. Piyush Kumar, Associate Dean Training, IIHMR. Director's report was presented by Dr. Usha Manjunath, Director, IIHMR. Presidential remarks by Dr. S D Gupta Trustee secretary, IIHMR society followed by oration of the gathering by honorable chief guest Dr. Vivek Talaulikar CEO, Gleneagles Global Hospital Mumbai, Guest of honor Dr. J N Srivastava Advisor- Quality Improvement, National Health Systems Resource Centre, Delhi, and Special Invitee Professor Sadagopan, Visiting Distinguished professor IIHMR and Dr. G N Rao Chairman, L V Prasad Eye Institute.
Dr. Vivek Tallikar, Gleneagles Global Hospital Mumbai, congratulated and gave his best regards to Graduating students in his speech, he has touched upon three learnings of his life-Openly accept the challenges, continuous learning, and never hesitate to clear doubts. He also urged the students to work towards making Public Healthcare system stronger and more affordable. Mentioning the importance of Healthcare Insurance, he quoted “Healthcare Insurance is not an expense but an investment to remain healthy”
Dr. Usha Manjunath Director IIHMR, Bangalore, congratulated all the students, she welcomed Chief guest, guest of honor, and all the distinguished guest. She briefed accomplishment of IIHMR in previous year and conveyed her message to the students. She quoted “Hardwork, patience and determination towards goal has given wings to your dream and now you are ready to begin your new journey”
Dr. J N Srivastava Advisor- Quality Improvement, National Health Systems Resource Centre, congratulated and gave his sincere wishes to Graduating students. He stressed upon the importance of value and ethics, right decision making as an important attribute to be carried on.
Dr. S D Gupta Trustee secretary, IIHMR society congratulated and advised all the graduates to follow ethics, keep faith in yourself and develop values, which will enable them to grow in professional & personal front. He quoted “Success comes with Passion, Attitude, and right Behavior “
Professor Sadagopan, Visiting Distinguished professor IIHMR and Dr. G N Rao Chairman, L V Prasad Eye Institute, congratulated and gave best wishes to graduate professional through Virtual mode.
The outstanding students were also awarded by Dr. V P Agarwal gold medal, Shri M L Mehta gold medal and faculty jury awards.
The deans and faculty members of the Institute delivered the message of achievement & success.
The graduating students shared their experiences and praised the perfect blend curricular and extra-curricular environment of the IIHMR Bengaluru.
The ceremony ended after the Trustee Secretary Dr S D Gupta IIHMR announced the closing of the Convocation of 2021 followed by the National Anthem.
