23-year-old woman kidnaps employer's daughter; know why

A 23-year-old domestic help allegedly kidnapped her employer's three-year-old daughter.

The accused woman abducted the toddler from her employer's residence in Patel Nagar, Central Delhi.

On Tuesday, Alwar police arrested a 23-year-old domestic help. During the investigation, the cops found that the woman had an argument with her employer over salary issues and the latter threatened to fire her, timesnownews.com reported.

Due to this reason, the woman allegedly kidnapped the child.

The incident came to light on Monday evening when the three-year-old girl's mother lodged a complaint against her domestic help.

The mother of the toddler informed the police that she had threatened her domestic help to sack her from the job after she demanded the salary hike.

She further alleged that in the afternoon, when she was working from home, her domestic help took the child for a stroll but didn't return home.

According to media reports, when the woman started calling her, the accused woman started demanding Rs 45,000 and even threatened to kill her child if she informed the police.

Police lodged an FIR and scanned the CCTV camera installed in the area. According to The Times of India, the footage showed the woman carrying a child with her.

With the help of surveillance, police found the location of the accused in Alwar, Rajasthan.
Following this, police coordinated with Alwar police and shared the picture of the child. Police nabbed the woman at one of the police barricades.

However, the toddler was safely rescued by the police and given to her parents.

Meanwhile, the accused woman was arrested and an FIR was lodged under section 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code.
